Twitter is what you make of it. Basically its updating your status, which can be extended without limits.
In this tutorial i am going to write about how to integrate twitter with Facebook status and Windows Live Messenger Personal Message(PSM) . It is even possible to intergrate with Google Talk status, but not so easy as few clicks, so i am just going to ignore the how to part and leave a link for you to follow.

I am assuming that by now you have a twitter account. If not please go and signup at www.twitter.com
Integrating Twitter with Facebook Status
- Install twitter facebook application from here. Click Go to Application > Allow on the following page
- Log in with your twitter credentials. This will take you to a page where you can see your public timeline.
- On the top right corner of the page you will see a button ” Allow twitter to update your facebook status“. Click that button and on the following page Allow Status Updates.
Integrating Facebook Status with Windows Live Messenger Personal message
Since we have got twitter hooked up with Facebook status we are now going to use Facebook status to update the Windows Live Messengers Personal Message. For this we will be using a script add-on for Messenger Plus Live! (Messenger Plus! Live is an add-on for Windows Live Messenger that adds tons of features and extras to the software. Extend the possibilities of Messenger and make your experience a lot more entertaining! )
- Get the latest version of Windows Live Messenger from here & the latest version of the Messenger Plus Live from here and install them.
- Install Facebook Status (add-on script) for Messenger Plus Live from here and click download. By default this file will open with Messenger Plus (if u have installed it) application promting you some warnings.
- Now go and login to your Facebook account.Now we are going to grab your minifeed url. To do so follow these instructions:-
- go to http://www.facebook.com/notifications.php
- on the right hand side you will find some links, at the bottom of these links you will find MyStatus, click that link
- copy its url - Fire up your Messenger with its Facebook Status Script add-on installed. On the top right corner you will find a boxy iconset Scripts which is right to the Add a contact or group.
- When you click the icon a menu will appear. Select Facebook Status > Settings.
- A small box will appear, paste the already copied minifeed url the Feed field and save it.
Now your messengers personal message will update automatically with your Facebook status at the given time interval.
Integrating Twitter with Gtalk
Integrating twitter with gtalk is not so easy as the following tutorials. So i am not going to write about it, but i am leaving this link to you.

Now that facebooks minifeed doesnt work, You can find the minifeed rss from your Inbox > Notifications ( Thanks to Daryl ’s comment )you can use rss feed for your twitter activity which u can grab from the left side link on your profile. Use that link instead of the facebook minifeed url. It works perfectly with the new version of the script.
