Gmail Backup saves and restores complete archives of your Gmail email account using Gmail’s built-in IMAP capability.

www.Gmail-Backup.com
The Windows version comes with a simple graphical interface — just enter in your email address and password, select a backup folder, and click the Backup button. It will save your messages in Microsoft’s EML format complete with attachments. The Linux version (which also works with Mac OS X) is command-line only. Besides enabling offline access to your archives, you can use the restore feature to upload messages to another account, making it easy to transfer old messages to a new account. I supports regular Gmail accounts as well as Google Mail in Germany and Apps For Your Domain email accounts, as long as POP/IMAP access is enabled under Settings. Don’t want to risk using a backup tool that’s still in development? Try our guides to backing up your mail accounts to your computer with Thunderbird, Fetchmail or Getmail. Gmail Backup is a free download for Windows, Mac and Linux. - Source LifeHacker.

1. Gmail users must read!

There have been a Gmail security exploits late last November, which leads to serious damages to some gmail users. This issue has been fixed but you might still be infected so follow me.
Bug: Some Hackers were able to add email forwarders to victims account by CSSS ( Cross Side Scripting).
>> Read more about this issue >> Read a victims story
Are you a victim ?
The great thing about this small issue is that victims donot easily noticed. Even you might be so please check your Gmail accounts filters and check weather there are any forwarders to unknown email addresses.
HELP!!?
- Go and sign into your Gmail account.
- Click on Settings from the top right hand corner of the window.
- Click on the “Filters” tab.
- Look for any filter which says something like “Do this: Forward to
dontlive@windowslive.com“. If you find any suspicions or unknown forwarder please delete it immediately.
2. How to hack any email address!
Seems interesting haa ?. Watch this amazing video and try it. Sometimes it really works.
